discojett - I'd stick with Colombia. It is way safer than Venezuela.... and go soon... things are really changing quite rapidly there right now.
Matt, I think you should make a huge billboard of Wes's pic of the shop!

UK Excite night, 2007. Man, so much energy there tonight. Competition, team spirit, and individual effort. I am usually pretty content with my age, but watching wresting the other day made me wish I was in HS again, and tonight I wished I was 19 again...

The UK team photographer let me use one of his spare cameras tonight. 8.5fps! So, along with shooting with my 5D, I was using two new (to me) cameras...

PS, dial up users, this could take a while...

Beautiful Wes!
Jesus only knows that she tries too hard. She's only trying to keep the sky from falling.

Technocar

Post by Alan Evil »

A little change of pace. I've added some more LEDs to the Technocar as well as a round neon thing on the hood that pulses to the music playing in the car (I'm going to upload a little movie of that). I'm still trying to figure out how to mount a flame thrower on it...

Here's the movie. This is from the front of the car so you see the pulsing neon ring and through the car to the plasma plate in the back window.

just got back from 5 days in the Grand.

flew into phoenix
hostel in flagstaff
down to indian garden on day one
then three days at the bottom
day hikes up clear creek and to upper ribbon falls
one good day to hike out
didn't take too many shots since i was trip leading and couldn't really make too much time for serious photos
snow and ice on the rim. got down to mid 20s the first night and mid 30s the rest of the week
highs in the 50s and 60s near the bottom. long nights made manageable by crystal clear skies for star gazing and lots of hot chocolate and good food. cheesey biscuits and after dinner cinnamon rolls were the big hits.
