Psssssss(t) or (ing) Ladies!
So I looked for the words “peeâ€
That's crazy....the only thing that makes me remotely interested in the travelmate thingy is that I have to pee every three seconds now and on car trips, I would love tonot make everyone stop so I can pee again and again. I can't even make it from our place to Vegas now without stopping! (It's only about 80 miles) ...
I can't say that I have ever had a real problem out here, there are few options as far as bushes and things to hide behind...crowded crags are really more of an issue, can't seem to get far enough away from people to go....but I don't think that even if I had one of those things I would freely stand up and let er rip....where we've been climbing there are lots of tourists and hikers with little kids and I would still not feel right peeing thru a plastic device in front of them...
If you try it out, you definitely have to tell us how it works....to me it just doesn't look like it would be all that mess free....
Good luck and happy peeing...

Hey,
I personally don't bother with a Freshette. I have zipper crotch base layer/fleece and goretex pants for winter so I can just ZIP! ZIP! ZIP! and go without un tucking any layers at all. that way you can actually just pee standing up. if you kinda .. um... 'spread em' a bit.
I don't worry too much about people around in the summer. I figure if the guys can pee on the edge of the trail, so can I. However, if that isn't an option, or if you aren't comfortable with that.. then I really suggest trying to find some zip crotch pants. They are really awesome. They work fine for number 2 also.
As for the keeper.. I use it, have for years and I love it. nothing to throw out, nothing unnatural near me and easy to take on long back packing trips etc. Aside from the fact that I have a 6 month old I am breast feeding and haven't had a cycle since I got pregnant.. hmm let me seee.... that is 15 months now! wooot!!!!
Anyways.. yeah... zip crotch... hehe. They have lots of benefits!
