Sport & Trad Closure at Torrent Falls

further, this thread is not about how cool or uncool mark and kathy are (but if we're counting, they're unbelievably cool folks who have worked darn hard at torrent, raised a wonderful family, and have all been and will continue to be an asset to the climbing community...) rather it was simply started as an announcment of the closure of torrent.
to all of you who have whined and talked smack about the closing of torrent -- PLEASE take your sorry ass and your "i wasn't the one who made them close it" attitude and don't come back to the red, because you're likely a part of the problem...
wow, now that's stupid. when did this thread become about you or about muir valley? old woman, i'm so glad you like to clim at muir, but this isn't a "my cliff is better than your cliff" thread...i also suspect that the owners might not be quite as unbelievably cool as the webers, but we'll leave that out of the main argument.

facts are what they are, pigsteak. one can be considered an historian for repeating them, or a racist. should i apologize for telling you the race of the jerks at torrent that day?
yes, muir is "outside" just like a nice big park is "outside." i'd say you're the confused one, going from "it's McD's playplace" to "it's a stellar place to climb" without breathing.
sounds like you did touch the issue of trad. but if you really like nature, trad might be your only way up something. or! i know! you can stay home, or wait in line with the other teenagers.
i didn't pee on torrent's land. i was making a point, moron: behaviors that are okay out in nature AREN'T okay in somebody's yard.

old woman..I apologize..I didn't realize you were such the historian.
I am one of those helping develop Muir and it's system of trails, marked climbs and safety placed bolts. you ever helped in that endeavor down there? if so, your comments would have never been posted. I again state, it is a playland and a gorgeous place to climb..no contradiction there, unless you want there to be.
huggybone and charlie..now THAT is the spirit that has been missing from this board. i got "bring it attitude " for both you chuffers. yeah, I'm talking to you, and you ain't misinterpreting it....btw, where actuallydoes one drop of their "bring it on" that they are asked to deliver?
