What's really amusing is to sort by price, lowest to highest, and see that people are selling email addresses with the word "playstation" in them... brilliant!

haha...yeah...I saw people lined up outside Best Buy last night...with their tents and such. It made me giggle.

I caught a little thing on cnn about those last week. Aside from improved graphics, what is the draw? It seems like the gaming industry is hitting a major rut in terms of game ideas. You can drive, play sports or shoot. The game hasn't really changed at all for most of them, just the graphics.

Some friends of mine picked up an Atari at Target yesterday, so we spent last night playing some old favorites, like Asteroids, Combat, and Lunar Lander. I think I like those old games better than the new ones ... at least I can land a damn ship in Lunar Lander, while I'm completely incompetent at anything on a PS2 or Nintendo.

Woohoo Pitfall! Atari had some sweet games. I still think Mario 1, 2, and 3 and Legend of Zelda on the original NES are my favorites.
