mountain biking at the red-

Post by sycamore »

I'm coming down for a week+ next week, and am wondering whether I should bring my bike for off/rain days. Are there any decent trail systems in the area?

Check out the Cave Run area. I hear it's pretty good. Also, there is a bike shop near Cave Run, they could give you the skinny on all the trails.
I've had just about enough of this shit.

Cave Run is really good mtb. park at clear creek area ride sheltowee trace trail north to caney loop . do caney loop return on sheltowee to clear creek.about 25 miles. there are many more trails in that area. buckskin is also good. if you like double track you can ride endless miles of oil well access roads near zacharia. but beware it is a very large area to get lost in! i will be down there with my mtb on over derby fest weekend maybe i could give you more info. look for mitsubishi montero with a seven sola on the bike rack.
