Hey, just FYI, Rocktown now has some hunting date closures. Like this weekend. So, check before you head down there!

I've been shut down at T-Wall in a like fashion but it can lead to a nice Sand Rock session

The 'informative DNR men' told us there are 10 days in 2006 @ Rocktown, closed to climbing. "Unless you are wearing hunter orange & carrying a gun, you shouldn't be here." We just happened to hit 2 of them.

Although (after the fact), I could not find this hunt listed on Georgia's DNR/Hunting calendar, I did find a phone number (706)295-6041 & called. Other dates closed in 2006, for deer:

Nov 8-11
Dec 6-9

For any of you that started thinking..."What about T-Wall?" Here are their closed for hunting dates:
