in Lex looking for a climbing partner 4 future trips to RRG
I just started climbing this summer, probably been 6 times. I have climbed several 5.8s and attempted some harder stuff with little to no success. I have a decent rack of sport gear, but no 60m rope (may pick one up this winter). My climbing partner is leaving town this fall for the mission field in Chile, so I am looking to hook up with someone who may like to climb with me on occassion. I prefer to climb during the week, but not limited to the weekdays. I have lots of experience on belay. I don't mind trying harders stuff but would also like to feed my ego by doing some climbs on my level as well.
hi Bobmadness,
I have been climbing for 3 years and like you, I am happy with just building up experience climbing 5.8s / 5.9s. I have a 60m rope. I also have a full trad rack and so we could start getting into that stuff as well.
My constrain is time: I am free on a regularly basis, only Saturday mornings but here's what I can do: I live in Louisville and will drive early in the morning, pick you up from Lex and you could be back around noon/1pm (you don't even have to share the gas bill, I have a good "deal" on gas...)
Tell me if this is any good.
