Camp Store Crag

Post by rhunt »

I am confused as to where this cliff is? If I park at the lot for Funk Rock where do I go from there?

Anyone?

there will be a small gravel road to a large parking lot up the hill(left) from funk rock parking. around the left side of the parking lot you will see a faint trail but really you are just bushwacking straight up to the rock. camp and store are 15 feet apart and are the only roped climbs up there but they are worth it.

cool thanks man. I was thinking Camp Store Crag might be a good warm-up instead of the slabs at Funk Rock.

The 10.c is really good. I think it is called Store. Both routes are cool.. but the boulder problem looks scary, esp. bc of all the broken glass from the beer bottles someone left there.

The boulder problem definitely doesn't suck - the nice thing is that it's very spotting-friendly.

cool good to hear the 10c is good. given the shape the slabs at FR are in(bolts), it'll be nice to have a 5.10 to warm-up on.
