Climbing THURSDAY- 9-21

Post by Ascentionist »

Anyone up for some moderate trad or sport tomorrow? I'm skipping class just to go climbing. I'll go solo if I get no takers, but I'd like to find someone else willing to take a day off if i can.

Email me at ascentionist@yahoo.com

Oh, Pooh!

And it's moderate! :(
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

We're headed out in the afternoon (1-2 until sunset). Haven't completely decided where yet. But Ro is calling. We're looking at warm up on 9's good fun on 10's and 11's, followed by pain and suffering on a 12 or two.

Toss me a PM if you are interested.

Not moderate enough for me. I'm way out of shape and I was never in good shape to begin with.

Unfortunately my son's allergies have kicked in and I stayed home with him today. Looks like I would have skipped class today no matter what the weather.

Maybe if he's feeling better later we'll go for a bike ride, but I doubt he will.

So I can dream about climbing...sigh! But I would be sitting in class surfing climbing and mountaineering sites anyway so it doesn't matter.

I'm sort of somewhere between "never been" and "has been" depending on who you are talking to. Apparently I was never a climber according to some elitist sport climbers and/or boulderers even though I have climbed quite a few of each, just not at the required levels to be considered a "climber."

When it comes to trad climbing I must insist that I at least was a "has been" since I have some strange scars that can not be explained otherwise.

Also, I have video evidence of my bouldering "prowess" and it can be viewed at http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =845385637 and http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =845343796
