yeah 80's hair bands do really well in rural areas too. ever see the local rock bands that come from rural areas? Its like a flash back to 1985.
Oh and Meadows, I just don't get how you can be an "out of the closet" 80's hair band fan and not be into TooL. So before, when you were "in the closet' did you road trip to other cities and go see bands like Motley Crue and Poison at their reuion tours and dress up like an 80's hair band fan with big hair, tight jeans lots of eye make-up? If so, now that you are out with it, can you share some pictures?

Don't forget, I was a bit too young, but back in August 98, I drove to Louisville for a killer line-up: Warrant (jani lane cut his hair - *sigh*); Quiet Riot; WhiteSnake, and more. Air guitars everywhere! I forgot Metallica in 94 (free tickets too!)
I still don't like sTool.
I'll show you mine if you show me yours! LOL
