Forgive me if this has been covered, though I did a search and couldn't find a reference to answer my question/suggestion exactly.
As an owner of the newest printed guide book, i'd like to keep it as up to date as possible. This means adding new walls to existing areas like the southern region or Muir valley. Additionally I'd like to add new climbs at existing walls.
Preferably this could be achieved by a section of the online guidbook that is dedicated only to routes and crags that were established after the release of Ray's expanded guidebook. This could perhaps be a search feature. A simple check box could be added for "in the print guide book" or "not in the print guide book". This way, users could easily print out updates to crags by using RedRiverClimbing.com without having to compare the print guide book to the online version manually.
Although after writing this out it seems one could use the F.A. date search feature to do the same. Although it is limited by years only and not months, so it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

That's a good idea. At the moment, there's nothing in the database table that records when the route was entered into the online guidebook, but if we add that column to the table and start keeping track of that, we can at least do what you're asking on a day-forward basis.
For day-backward, I can give you a list of the <whatever number> most recent routes to be added to the online guidebook. At a quick glance, it seems like maybe 300 routes have been added to the online guide since the printed guide came out? It might be closer to 200, though.

This is a bit premature. Not all of the fields of all records will be populated for a few days, but the Muir online guide provides a means to search and download customized pdf files for climbs in the Valley. Pick your search variables and view and print climbs matching those variables.
Because this is still Beta and some of its components are tied up with SSL, don't be surprised if your browser gags. Hopefully, after the debugging stage, it'll provide a useful bit of info, including marking a red "x" on the exact location of the climb on a map of the Valley along with gps coordinates.
