parking for North 40

Post by robert birchell »

What is the name of the parking lot you use to climb at North 40?
Do you need 4WD?
Thanks

its the sore heel parking lot. 4 wheel is easier for sure but as long as yo uhave decent clearance and the rains have been low you can make it back in 2 wheel drive. i know a kid who drives a mustang back there.

hey, if you yell to your belayer saying "why charles III, you are quite possibly the worst belayer ever" will he throw his tea on you?

yea, it seems like you could do it in a normal car. The roads look pretty nice. If its been rainy, like RRO has mentioned you could run into some mud problems.

i'd do it in mine and i drive an accord.

Ok, as of right now the road looks really good. But if you stop in the middle of the hill in a CAR you probably won't make it. So, if you are a good driver you don't need 4WD. If you are kind of challenged when it comes to the laws of physiscs and what-not you should let someone else drive. Or you'll be like the kids we saw this weekend pushing their car up the motherlode hill.

the scooter should do fine driving up the middle of the road. I've take my SV places it really shouldn't have gone.

Pushing a car up the motherload hill sounds like a World's Storngest Man event.

You should charge a couple bucks for scooter rides up and down the holler. You could donate the profits to "arrrg".
We could even get a go-cart and have race day. sweeeet. I wonder if Marlborro would sponsor me?
