Sherman and the Way Back Machine ...

Post by Curmudgeon »

Well, I just got a nice dual-core multimedia PC !!!

And I was going through converting some old videotapes
and stumbled on this one. I think it was the tenth anniversary
ascent of Bedtime, but I am a bit FOGgy (Freaking Old Guy!)
on the actual details. I know it was Bill Wade on the video
camera (This thing was HUGE!!!), and David was my second.

Before you slam meh for "sewing up the crack", remember back
before bolts, the rock was the weak point, not the gear. More
people I know got hurt at RRG from mechanical rock failure than
any other kind of stupidity. I have ALWAYS been the WEAK SAUCE.

So here ya go ...

Right Click and SAVE AS to be nice to my server

PS ... Also found and converted some Patrick Ellanger and John Bachar
stuff ... Those lads can freaking CLIMB

PPS ... After watching this, I went back down to Miguel's for Pizza
last weekend, man, has everyone gotten older !!!

Great Vid. Love the glasses...quite eighties indeed! Hey... there aint nothin wrong with sewing it up. Better safe than dead. Post those Bachar and Ellanger vids! Great job on the ascent by the way. Wonderful climb. :D
