Torrent Falls For Sale

Post by Torrent Falls »

Hello Climbing Community,
Yep that's right, I am looking at selling Torrent Falls. I can sell the whole thing or bust it up into two tracks of land. Total amount of land is 42 acres. For the whole deal plus the businesses, I am asking $900,000. It is a deal for that. It can pay for itself in less than three years for that much. Or I will sell the climbing side for $500,000. This includes the B&B.

I am giving this one month to the climbing community or else I am putting it on the open market. If I put it on the open market, I am not going to have any stipulation to keep the climbing open. That will be up to the next owner. It could possibly go as a Boy Scount Camp.

Spread the word. Maybe some will want to go as a group to purchase.

You and your family will be missed, Mark! It was great getting to visit with you guys over the years, and I wish you all the best. Hopefully you guys will get a buyer soon. Good luck with all that is to come.

Hey Mark, thanks for putting Torrent Falls on the 'climbing community market' first. Again your generosity towards the Red River Gorge climbing community shows in this latest action. Whether or not you sell Torrent to a climber, or on the open market you offered to climbers first. Thanks

And a big thanks to you and your family for all the support to the Red River Gorge climbing community, the RRGCC, and the individual climbers that have traversed your property.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Thanks Mark and Kathy! You have been an extraordinary support to the community and your generosity at giving climbers first bite at the apple is inspiring. Good luck in your future endeavors!

I would be very interested in talking to other individuals that would be willing to go together as a group to buy this. This could be a reality if we get several of us to pool our money and then it would stay in the hands of climbers.

Anyone SERIOUSLY interested, please let me know.
