Any climbing around Gatlinburg?

We'll be down there for a long weekend and looking for something new and kid-friendly - any suggestions? Thanks

There's an outdoor shop there, but I can't remember the name. I understand that they are familiar with all the outdoor activities and where to find everything. Try a google search. Good luck!

there's some good boulders downhill from the base of the look rock lookout tower. not sure about being kid friendly, depends on the kid. good boulders maybe even toproping but be careful with the kid. you approach from the top and have to look for the descent passage between the boulders. ok - forget the kid friendly part.

You'll be mighty close to North Carolina. If you gotta climb, you may have to drive a little further. As said before, best bet will be to check with the local outdoor shops, but I bet they all climb in NC or at one of the TN crags located elsewhere.
