He wiped his feet on my bros rope tarp in Red Rocks and then soloed the route they were roping up for. Wonder if he'll bring his sax?

He has soloed the NE Butress of Higher Cathedral some 40 times. When we were on the last couple of pitches he walked up with just shoes.

I just got a copy of the DVD about him - Bachar: Man, Myth, Legend and it's pretty cool. I'm jealous that I'm going to miss the slide show

John is still a rock star, still soloing and still a super guy. Those of you missing him at the Red can see his show at the New River Gorge the following weekend - Bridge Day weekend...

MM- I think he may have downclimbed The Rostrum without a rope... I don't think JB has soloed Astroman... Just Croft and Potter... I may be wrong...

Or as Morgain would say, "John Bacher, that sport climber."

Bachar and Peter Croft are two of my climbing heroes.
