Arrrgh! I know that the traddies and folks stuck with dialup won't be quite so bummed, but climbXmedia is offline. They just weren't bringing in the cash. I still can't figure out how much their hosting bills must have been when they were serving up 85mb videos! I hope they sort things out and get back on line soon!
The video's I downloaded of Lisa Rands and Klem Loskot were the biggest reason I started bouldering, and provided much motavation to climb to my "personel limit". At least there is still Dosage Vol. 1.
I can't believe that there is such a lack of response regarding Climbxmedia shutting down! What gives? Did the site get stale for everyone? Does anyone have any contact info on the guys that ran the site?
Man that can be said for any skateboarding/snowboarding/climbing/mountian biking/etc video. The fact is that a lot of talented photographers/videographers/climbers have lost a significant forum to show case their works.

True enough. What about viewer feedback? COnstructive advise to keep the website fresh. You are always working on this site to keep it up to date and interesting.
Have you read the site? They explain why it was shut down and also provide their names if you would like to contact them.
There were plenty of people who loved the site. Content wasn't the problem. The problem was money. Doesn't matter how many people love what you do if you can't afford to do it.

Too bad, but not surprising. Even if they would have appealed to a wider audience , 99% of climbers are cheap skates (most net surfers for that matter that would never pay to see something of the net) and climbing companies don't have a lot of disposable income for advertising. They were onto something though but I think I have a better idea.
