Route Descriptions
Route Descriptions
I still can't view the entire single page guide no matter which computer I use. It always cuts off at Sheltowee Wall. I have tried this on my home computer and 4 at work with the same result. The reason this matters is I like to be able to print the list of routes for an area (primarily Muir since new routes are not in the book) with the route descriptions, not just the list of route names you can print when looking at a wall. Is there anyway to make a link on each wall page which would generate the list of routes with descriptions therefore allowing one to print it off?

you could just make a hand-copied list and bring with you - those are pretty cool.
What I have done in the past is to copy and paste the descriptions of the routes that are not in the printed guide book using a word document program. Then you have a single page list of the routes that are not in the book and you dont have to print a full list every time you go to an area - just those that have been recently added.
I have done handwritten, copy and paste and without anything (sometimes fun, sometimes damn annoying). I just thought the link that generates a list with descriptions could help everyone. If it is too hard to do or no one wants to do it, it is no big deal.

Man, it could be that my server is choking and taking a long time to generate the page. It's a very large query. I have a brand new server sitting in my living room which I plan on using to separate out the database server on but haven't had the time. That should speed the whole site up quite a bit, especially large queries like the single page generation.

I am trying to
download the online guide for storage and offline
viewing on a Palm. I thought you might want to know
that I can only get it all using Mozilla and
displaying the page. I have tried repeatedly on
different days using IE and Mozilla but if I save it
to file (ie. right-click:save link target as) it gets
up to:
‘
44. Chunnel 5.13a (S)
Walk about 30 feet right from C Sharp or B Flat to a
cave to find this line.
FA: Unknown.
Bouldery or Technical. Stays dry: Downpour.
The Zoo.
‘
In IE, if I display it (ie. left click on ‘online
guidebook’) it gets up to:
‘
* 4. Nerd Gate 5.7
Walk right from the window about 75 feet and
past a vertical fingercrack to locate this line which
begins on a slabby section. Climb the shallow crack to
reach a hand crack about 10 feet up. Climb the hand
crack past a short roof near the top.

I don't know if it's a display isssue or what?
I can get it all using Mozilla and displaying on
screen.
