My feet sweat a lot whenever I climb and they always feel a bit damp when I put them on. My feet don't have any fungus growing on them yet, and I always hang them up in the garage when I get home. I guess you can't wash them but is there a product to shoot inside to stop mold or whatever from growing in there? I am happy with the preformance so far and really don't care to get a new pair every season.
you can wash them. just dry them slowly and air dry them. I wash mine occasionally. If you get a really funky smell washing them does a great job. i use regulas tide or something and cold water. takes a couple of days to air dry them.
Put orange peels inside & stick'em in the freezer for a couple of days. We were really desparate with a pair of stinky shoes on our hands. I swear it worked! Must've killed the stinky bacteria or something. Or at least covered it up.
"God dammit why can't we just get some beer!!!"~~Tamara
Thanks ! I think the tide and cold water rinse is what I was looking for.
They are pretty much all synthetic as far as I can tell.
I appreciate the orange peel suggestion, but I will pass on that. Maybe I will start using an orange peel spritz or something just before I put them on..... or not !!!
I have washed mine twice and it worked well. Might want to consider storing them inside instead of out in the garage which might be a source of mold/fungus.
The theory of evolution is just as stupid as the theories of gravity and electromagnetism.
I know this sounds gross, but try peeing in your shoes. I don't even know if it would help, but if they stink worse than pee, it may be an improvement.
