sound advice Tom I saw many coppers handing out tickets while was there last spring- all along 19 and while off subject geographically I have seen more police pressure on the Mtn Parkway towards the Red from 64, especially around Stanton

*just* got home. 9:45 is a pretty good time considering that i made 5 stops for food/bathroom/gas/stretch.

lots of fun.

didn't see any police except on 19. went 70-75 on just about all of AA. that I-Pass => EZ-Pass thing is way cool!

I have taken the AA highway many times. It is really fast but also really boring. the worst part is the speed limit is 55, but for some reason on the road you want to drive 105. Just set the cruise at 60 and wait. Also there are a bunch of boulders and short broken up cliff line along that road for a section. In the winter you can see alot of it. Some of it looks good.

The New was a blast..... I am glad the Canadians pulled through at the last minute... and let me hitch a ride in the Westy.... There was a nice sized group of KY climbers there, it was cool... I counted at least nine cops on both 16 and 19 this weekend.

A very fun time for sure. Must get back to the new more often - such cool climbing and a nice change of pace from the red. The event was super well put together and seemed to run pretty smoothly.

It was great to run into a bunch of people that I haven't seen in a while, along with meeting some pretty cool new people as well.

New Route at Summersville.

It is called "Sone Cold Doxie," and it is at Summersville on the long wall just left of an arete. It has two gray chain anchors and a small roof 15 foot up the climb. Maybe 11a, need some input on that part. The route starts on an obviously large flake that is on the ground. It is a huge flake!

Best,
