Curious if anyone knows if the climbs toward the back of the zoo would be dry Saturday. I think the bottoms would be dry, but the angle at the top makes think I should venture else where.
And yes I know the guide book says they are, but its been raining for two days.

A PM could eleminate other issues if its climbable.

you should worry more about whether or not the rock will stay in place rather than if it will be dry.

It's a bit of a choss pile...

My guess is they'd be wet. The Zoo is a pretty damp area.

its seems like the bottoms of hippo and scar tissue are usually wet after a rain but the tops stay dry. there is always alot of moisture that collects in that hollow so thats what id be worried about. I think youd find something to climb though pretty easily. GL

the zoo is world class, so ignore these naysayers. and stay away from the lode..it's always wet and crowded.

The hike is hell so I wouldn't chance it. The bottom of both the 12s are almost always wet so if its been raining I'd think about someplace else (like the load for example)

Hippocrite is one of the best .12s in the Red for sure.
