Last night the Linux box that serves as my firewall and mail server finally died. The area on the hard disk that stores the root partition went bad and could not be repaired. So today I was able to purchase a new firewall and am in the process of bringing everything back online.
It sucks because I had to give up a great day of climbing but I know how important it is to provide a place for discussing <politics> and trashing other people's bolting jobs!
You still may experience some times of downtime with the site throughout the day as I work on it.

If I would've went climbing then the site wouldn't have been up until next weekend. I wouldn't have had time during the week to do all the crap I had to do. No big deal. It's one day out of many. I had a great session in the gym.
Ray, you're much more generous than I would have been. You make a great admin. Thanks so much for all you do to keep our little playground up and running.
