congrats. don't know that we've met, but we should... as we also have a little one on the way (june) and a 4 year old who is an veteran of the cliff. we bought her a harness when she was almost 3 - but prior to that actually tied her a harness so she could swing - she doesn't like to climb much but loves to swing from steep routes and "boulders" most everywhere we go. would love to share kid-at-the-crag lessons learned with you guys if you'd like. we've been known to pack in the pack-n-play for a day at the crag, and even left a pack-n-play stashed at the crag a few times so it was there when we went the next time. anyhow, would love to chat about the family friendly climbing adventure. there's a growing number of hard-climbing moms and dads in the red - :)

Just remember, kids go with..
Despite the call for banning babies at the cliff, the cliff is a great baby spot (most cliffs).
Before long, the moms and dads with tots will out number the angsters calling for our removal. hehehe...

I think you should name the baby after me...Stephanie if it's a girl and Chester if it's a boy!!!! 8)

That's cool man! My wife and I are actually expecting a baby this fall too - Sept 27th is her due date. When's yours?

Definately gotta figure out a way to climb w/baby. It's funny though...my wife is afraid of heights, so she says she's "making me a climbing partner so she doesn't have to go"

hehehe...

Baby is due in mid November. I'll have to get a lot of fall climbing in this year. Who knows...I have no idea what to expect.
