Eric, thanks much. That is a drilled pin, placed way back in the day, when they didn't have much in the way of big gear. Crazy hard first 30 or so feet of that route, then 60 feet of hand fist stacking, with a short, slightly wider section at the top.

Paul, if only you could have seen the sad, sad look in Ken's eyes when he realized that you weren't just teasing him and that you really weren't coming out there. It made me tear up a bit...
