Toproping Cracks

Post by p0bray01 »

Are there any cracks in the red that can be climbed via setting up a top-rope without having to lead it first? Some of us were thinking we might try some crack climbing but none of us lead trad. A friend thought there were a few in indian creek...any suggestions?

Welcome to your roots.

I don't know the answer to your questions but I would recommend taking someone out with you who has climbed cracks. Sometimes it is nice to reinvent the wheel, but sometimes it is nice to get a little heads up.

Theres very little for an anchor on Half Moon. You need a second rope just for the anchor.
