Well, I had planned on climbing with Chester this past weekend but was afraid the rain would ruin my plans. As I constantly feel guilty for not spending enough time with my family, I decided to take them to Pigeon Forge for the weekend. We did all of the typical Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg stuff and decided to go for a hike Sunday. After the hike my wife was cleaning up our little girl because she had fell in the mud. Across from the parking lot, there was this big beautiful boulder. I found two nice lines on it. A nice stretched out crimpy line and a cool hand crack that went to fingers at the top.
Finding that boulder was the highlight of my vacation. I can't stop thinking about that little bit of climbing that I got. I really need to spend more time in the Red! I miss all of my great climbing friends and time on the rock.

P.S. sorry Chester for not showing up. I'll catch you next time.
