It was a quick trip for me and I stayed in Moab. More of a side trip from a work travel. Drove into Moab Thursday night climbed in Castle Valley on Friday and then hit Indian Creek Saturday. Then back home.

Hmm, looks like I might be heading there as well. Just wonder if I still can remember the beta for the creek... Oh, that's right - it is left hand in the crack, right hand in the crack, left foot in the crack, right foot in the crack. Then just shuffle those parts around to move up. Sweet, this should be easy enough

Man, I was wrong about the cracks out here - there are some super sweet, techy, bouldery, varied routes. But, kinda like the red, you need to be able to climb a bit harder to get on them. I have been having a blast getting the smackdown on just about every route I try. Four days on, rest today, then 3 more days of climbing. Crack climbing is cool like that....

Added a few - I haven't been doing very well with the photos this trip - I keep picking bad angles and places to shoot from...

nice photos. 4 more weeks and i'm there! :D

i probably belong at the Cliffs of Insanity with my planned schedule:
arrive in SLC 9:15pm Wednesday the 19th. drive to Joe's Valley that night. boulder at Joe's on Thursday and drive to Moab that night. climb splitters in Indian Creek Friday+Saturday+Sunday and maybe get a desert tower in, too. drive back to SLC sunday night and fly back to chicago 6:30am Monday.

i'm going to be so useless at work on Monday.
