I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

I knew that guy would get fired eventually. I kenw it would happen after he chopped a bunch of bolts without contacting the FA.

There is a long thread about it on RC.com, happend awhile back. A guy was putting up some mixed climbs, came back after equiping them, starts up the route, to find that the anchor bolts are chopped. So he belays from a twig, continues up the route, to fing most of the second pitch bolts chopped, so on and so forth. He escapes by horrendusly running it out, a finishes the rest of the route. So he starts talking to people, and Thengesa's (sp?) name comes up, they found an eyewitness, and so they contct him for the hardware, he doesn't respond. They rebot potings of the route and he chops them again, again with no word.

Not that I have a problem with bolt chopping, but it seems like something that would put alot of heat on Climbing magazine.
