PMRP Fundraiser Weekend @LagoLinda

Post by Colorscholar »

Hello everyone,

The LagoLinda campground is hoping to hold a fundraiser weekend for the PMRP the first or second weekend in May. All camping fees will be donated to the PMRP to help pay the mortgage.

I am gathering a list of names or groups of people interested in staying at the campground.

The 5.00 per night per person includes use of the campground, showers, bathrooms, lake, and fire rings. Linda the owner of the campground will have the cafe open to serve food for any hungry souls that want a homecooked meal.

LagoLinda is located just minutes away from the Motherload and the PMRP so it is an ideal location to camp if your planning to visit those areas.

In additon we are taking reservation on a first come first serve basis to use the newly remodeled "BuzzBee" cabin which has been designed for climbers and can sleep up to 8 people. The cost is 10.00 per person and includes the showers etc. As of right now there are no beds but there are tables, a couch, microwave, and fridge. Plans are to eventually add beds but for now it is a bring your own pad.

Please try ot make plans to come stay at the campground, the owners are great people and it is truly for a worthy cause.

You can send questions, comments or reservations to:

Best wishes,

Woops, I am soooo sorry for the spelling errors. My newborn son was in my hand while I typed this.

Best wishes to all!

One last thing!

Just so everyone knows Linda has put in a sweet airconditioner in the "BuzzBee" cabin. So for those of you wanting to sleep in the blast furnace heat at night it will be an awesome place to stay when the sun cranks up in a few months.

If someone will go with me I will go. It will be a new experience for me. I would like to share it with someone. Please, won't you join me in a fully functioning mother ship. Alcohol may be involved if it is legal in that part of the tri-state area.
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,

Good fishing!

Hello everyone,

Not that it matters, but I spent a few days fishing over spring break in Linda's lake and the Bass are awesome! They strike on artificial and are fun to catch. Linda requests a catch and release policy in order to maintain the fish population.

So for those of you climbers/anglers out there, who are planning to stay at LagoLinda bring your fishing pole when you come and relax a bit casting and hooking some largemouth.

Best,
LagoLinda staff
