Tuesday or Thursday climbing partner

Post by chriss »

Hello everyone,

I am a graduate student at UK, and my teaching schedule this semester gives me Tuesday and Thursday off every week. I would like to get out climbing on one of these days each week for the remainder of the semester. My regular weekday partner, scobro, had a schedule change with work and can no longer make it out. So I am looking for new people to climb with during the week.

I live in Lexington, so I can carpool or meet at Miguels. I have rope, draws, trad rack and I am willing to climb sport or trad. I have routes I want to get on at most crags in the red, so I'm willing to go to most places. If you need a belay on your project I would be willing to trade some catches.

Send me a PM, or post if you can meet me for some Tuesday or Thursday climbing. If you are already getting out and don't mind me tagging along, let me know.

I would be willing to hit up Grand Ledge every other Tuesday. Will this fit in to your schedule?

that's funny, but it is nice to see the Michigan folk advocating for Grand Ledge. Don't think you'll pull many people from the Red though, but nice try.

Stewy, I could do any one of these days, although you are probably a much higher caliber climber. I'm also looking to get out every week, just to learn as much as possible. Let me know, I could probably do both days on most weeks after five.

Chriss is a solid climbing partner. If my wife didn't expect me to work for a living we'd still be climbing during the week.

Climb with him, you'll get strong or break.

I was wondering if you are still needing a partner? I can make plans to climb any time after 5 during the week, possibly a bit earlier.

I'm a teacher and I finish next Wednesday. If you are interested in climbing this summer let me know.
