Matt I already have those routes reserved this saturday. Its for the Special X-Games. You should have checked the reservation book at miguels. You wouldn't want to make a bunch of kids cry, would you? You are more than welcome to use Brother Stair on saturday if you would like. Thanks.

Actually, I am doing a nude transvestites of climbing calendar and we will be at Left Flank all day due to the good light. Sorry, but you will have to go elsewhere. Try Muir, nothing there is harder than 5.8.

It does have potential. We have to keep the literal people at bay! They will surely fuck it up if we allow them to. The crux is that they don't know who they are!

This is for all the literal people. If all or any part of this thread makes no sense to you, then please do us a favor and don't post. This is some important stuff we're doing. It's could be made into a monster if we all pull together as a team! By the way......

hey matt, thanks for the heads up, but i actually booked the slabs at left flank like three months ago.... you see, my lamaze coach suggested that i take the whole class out climbing - you know, kind of a build the bond between the mom-to-be and the labor coach deal prior to delivery. so, we'll have 7 pregnant women there with their partners - we plan to have the women climb the slabs and their partners belay them - but i don't have enough belay devices to go around so lurk suggested the hip belay technique... anyhow, we're going to use climbing to practice trusting, open, and honest communication between couples. i think it could really be the next big thing. don't you agree? so, your big bro and big sis kids are welcome to cycle in, but from my experience with this group the hormones can be pretty wacked...so there could be a lot of foul language that might not be suitable for your youngsters.

rhunt- thanks much for reminding me to set up the trs through the anchors - duh, i was going to bring extra draws and such - but this way we can actually just leave them there climbing and not have to worry about anything but pulling the rope. good tip! do you mind if we go up and fix the routes on thursday or friday so that it is all ready, just like the gym, when they get there this weekend... and i'm wondering about installing a port-a-potty right by brother stair - i mean these are city folks, they may not want to squat in the woods... i don't think anyone will mind, least of all the FS, right?
