We will just have to wait and see, if we pull out all together, in theyre culture we will have lost all face and will be seen as weak. Right now some of them hate us, but in a dark way it serves as respect. They know we are the mightiest nation on earth, we are constantly learning everyday this type of warfare. I agree with why you said it but not with what you said. We are already a different military fighting a different war. Tell me the last time a soldier was killed in a gunfight?a battle? months, all they do now is use IED'S and suicide bombers, were getting better at avoiding both, and when we have it down to a science, then we can focus more energy and supplies to the next issue. Too many people did'nt hear or understand the idiot in charge when he said the War On Terror would be a long, costly, engagement, and look, he was right! on atleast one thing. I don't pretend to know any outcomes or time lines, but if we back out now, and lose the last gram of fear/respect the middle east has for us, we will have 10 9/11's 20 etc.... We have to have onsight intell to pevent the rest of those towel heads from doing worse than 9/11. As Tomdarch said, what if Iran has nuclear capability and we are not there to stop them or have real time intell on when, where, what, and how they are using it.overhung wrote:They don't accept us at all.
