There's no limit-- we need at least 12 (though we could make due with fewer if we had to), and we already have 11, I believe. More than 12 just means group shots. :) Sorry, Piggie-- you can't rip us apart by creating a vote that didn't exist at the start of the project! :P

hey yas, you are the one who said that toproping a climb negates any prior send.

so this calender is a community project..and if 50 ladies offer their services, all 50 are included?

(i am 100% behind the idea, btw. just curious how the selection process is decided. i mean, if all are included, it starts to be like junior high sports. if some are not included, it smacks of arbitrary snootiness.) i just think having pigsteak in charge of a voting committee would insure impartiality...or not.

Shit, I knew that stepping into Pigsteak's shoes for a moment would come back to haunt me... You were supposed to claim that statement!

Yup, if 50 women decide to join in, I'm sure we could work in 4.1666666666 per month. We'll rotate the .1666666666 so that nobody feels insignificant. I think a "selection process" would be unfair.

And junior high school sports still had cuts. This comes from someone who was cut from basketball and volleyball. Thanks for bringing that back for me, Pigsteak. I really needed a good solid cry at my desk today.

You're cut from the non-existent voting commitee. Bam!

I cast the third vote!

I think there is sufficient diversity among the climbing women to have group shots of us if 50 people show up on the 16th. In my opinion, Chester should have the final say on which photos go into the calendar. She is extraordinarily talented and I vote to give her artistic license. But that would be my two cents.

Also, I'm all for objectification for women...so long as it's my idea to be objectified and I'm not stoned, in need of money or otherwise in need in such a way that sways me to objectify myself

Is this thing suppose to be like climbing girls gone wild or is it suppose to be something artistic?

My understanding is that it's supposed to be artistic. But if you post about a female climber calendar, everyone's gonna think it's dirty.

But it's not a female climbing calendar as no one's climbing, just posing with climbing gear.

I'm really confused...

I was told that we are doing a calendar of female redriver climbers. These will be more human interest photos of female rock climbers as opposed to us climbing. We'll be doing various goofy or artistic stuff. Some may pose with climbing gear or whatever Chester thinks will look nice. Yasi, etc. figured that we'd only attract people from the Red who want pics of climbers they know anyway, so why haul cameras, people, etc and ruin a climbing day taking those pics when you can do something artistic and fun, yet still make the same returns.
