Yeah, there are climbs there, but with rappelling recently being closed down I wouldn't suggest climbing there real soon.
i would imagine if the FS is intent on enforcing the rappeling ban, they will be watching that popular spot, and by climbing there, they might REALLY not see much distiction between climbing and rappeling.

You do have a guidebook don't you?

Technically Bouldering was out lawed a long time ago! The Cove is an area that in the future will be strictly enforced. Apparently the rock shelters are sensitive areas!
Just genuinely disengenuous.

I guess that they are starting to really close some of the areas that have been officially off limits since that guide book came out. I believe you can still do the back woods bouldering thing, as long as you don't alter anything or publish. The published problems are kinda a grey area, and it might be best to refrain from bouldering in those areas, or at least keeping a very, very low profile if you chose to. And NOT bouldering anywhere there is a fence or signing.

I believe climbing is "closed" on ony arches and also on tower rock. At least I think so.

Dont go to half moon! I went there when rapelling was allowed and it was very filthy. Beer cans and paper and plastic wrappers everywhere. the only good climb I saw had a large turd at the base of it. if you dare go bring a trash bag to help clean up.
