Yeah Miguel's was crazy this weekend!! It was cool to see so many people though, and it was a reminder of how small the climbing community is-- I kept running into people I'd seen at the Obed a month ago. It was also cool to meet Chester and bump into Gretchen and Jesse-- hadn't seen you guys in awhile.

IT would good to see you too Yasi :D

But man was Miguel's packed! In talking with Miguel, he enjoys the Canadians alot. They are always respectful of his place. The big problem today are all of the teenagers who skip out on paying, are loud, and leave their trash everywhere. Please pick up after yourself! Also no white gas on the fires please! Coupe of people chillin by the fire got cinged!

Damn kids these days....

And we didn't wait in line for any routes this weekend... once we gave up on the idea of doing the easy sport routes at roadside. No one ever climbs on the far left at roadside. Great routes and it is even kinda shady back there. Same with the weak side of torrent.

We went to Skybridge ridge on Fri and Global Village on Sat. Almost empty at both places. It's amazing how big the Red is.

And, yeah, I agree that all the canadians we met were nice. Well, expect for the two drunk guys around the fire on Friday night. One kept yelling about smoking his "ganza" and that the cops could come arrest him if they wanted to. Uh, that's fun.

I enjoyed the fire jumper on Saturday. That was neat.

Yeah, I got a huge feel for how big the Red is this weekend! First time I really looked around the Southern Region, and it's GORGEOUS too!! :D
