Just watch how you park at the gate to 9.
Not much parking available, you will be away from your vehicle for a while so you know the drill...don't leave anything in sight.
Seems like last time we parked there, when we got back there was a warning on the windshield from the FS.
We were well off the road, and it didn't make much sense to me.
It's been a while though and I don't remeber the specifics. Just kind of strange. The sign on the gate said closed to vehicle trafic but foot travel is welcome. But you can't park by the gate
.
We were in no way blocking it or the road.
Maybe a shuttle service to and from the gate would be an option?

If I had some time off and I was more of a traddie this is what I'd love to have. Someone drop me and a partner off and come back a few days later at an arragned time. Camp and climb back there for a few days.Jeff wrote:...Maybe a shuttle service to and from the gate would be an option?

Enjoy it while you can. Rumor has it the FS is working on a fix for this season.
