Daffodil Lament by the Cranberries, She's Lost Herself by Odub, and Swan Dive by Ani DiFranco. On repeat, as my rotating addiction to songs dictates.

Last night, I visited a songwriter's cafe here in Nashville. Although the set I went to was country/folk music, it was a cool experience. Four songwriters who've had cuts on the radio sat in a circle with their guitars and keyboard while we sat around them sipping our wine and listening to them strum and sing. Afterwards, I was hanging out at Starbucks when a guy overheard my conversation about a group I used to dig. He works for EMI music and gave my friend and I his card. He promised us a bunch of schwag. I'm psyched!

I'm still hoping to run into Keith Urban.
