yup..I saw the fire ring at torrent...not very cool at all. although, maybe we should confirm with Mark on that one.... cause right past the 12 wall he does have fire pits and wood.

if you can't crank without a fire, stay home. or buy gloves and hand warmers. or leave the crying SO at home by the fireplace.

I don't mean to sound like an ass but aren't fires at the cliff only a problem on national forest land? Solar and Torrent are on private property. It's been a while since I have been up to solar but I don't remember seeing signs saying "fires prohibited" like the ones at Military and Left Flank for example. Most people are not educated as to why fires are a problem at the base of cliffs...ie arc sites. If there are signs then maybe they need to be bigger and more visable.

I am pretty sure that on the RRGCC web site and maybe even in the Ray's new guide book that the "rules" are mentioned. It's no fun when you pull your rope and it lands in a fire pit. Yea I know.........
So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,

for everyones information, fires at the 11 wall are a HUGE no-no. The fire pit and wood that is there is for the guests. any and all would be wise not to let any of the Meyer family see that kind of action or hello trouble. Dont let me see it either, (anywhere) else ill piss on you and beat your fire out with your urine soaked body.

No open fires are permitted on the Pendergrass-Murray Recreational Preserve.
