We have some 'vintage' chouinard and bonatti biners that might fetch some good cash.... I have to see first how many we can personally part with :(

How about some brand new gear that is being given as in kind donations. Should that be used for this auction or used for another venue?

certainly! although some would be needed for in-person events it would be a good attraction to offer new/used gear.

I think we could auction off all kinds of stuff - new gear, old gear, dontated goods and services, etc. Might be a nice way to raise money and to provide people with stuff. Maybe people that wouldn't just give money away would be willing to buy some to help the cause.

I think we could get creative with what we offer, things like porter hangers, belay slave days, etc.

When it stops raining I will head outside and take an inventory of the schwag in my storage shed. It's been there for over a year and I have no clue what all's there.
