I've learned that my body is actually vulnerable to injury and I cant do stupid things all the time anymore. My ankles aren't as strong as I had once thought and my elbows hate to arm wrestle and will never do it again. I have also learned that I think I like taking photos of people climbing more than climbing itself. I'm psyched to take photography road trips and maybe do a little climbing on the side. Who knows though I have yet to take that trip. We'll see in a few weeks if I still feel the same way.

I learned that I can crimp if I have to, but will still pick the open hand sloper first.

I learned I am not as psyched on solo roadtrips anymore - just isn't nearly as much fun as with some other cool person or even ten along.

I also love climbing photography, but still have a hard time deciding between doing that or actually climbing.

Still love bouldererererering.

I have learned that eating Qdoba burritos and thus gaining weight is wholly unhelpful to my already mediocre climbing skills.

discovered my large body makes my head look small, kinda out of proportion, sex is still cool especially with a partner, missed climbing with Hamsco and the Pirate, proud of Rockstar for making the trip and having success in the ditch, truly grateful for Muir and long to become more familiar with Murray Pendergrass area, kudos to Ray et. al on the best guidebook on the planet and thanks to all for the great times climbing this past year, lets do it again

I have learned that if you look up the word generous or saintly in the Thesaurus and the Dictionary, Ray and Michelle's name show up.

My dictionary said that too, Squeezie. Well, mine actually said Sir and Michelle.

I have learned:
That my children just get cooler as I get older. 8)
That my grandbuddies are the best thing that ever happened to me. :!:
That I don't have to be half a couple to be a whole person. Pfffffft.
That I'm probably always going to be a sucky climber, but my friends keep inviting me along. (Yasi can't read this one!)
That I still wish I had time to have a dog, and I still miss Emmy.
That I love telling my patients they can eat again. :D
That wrinkles don't hurt. :P
That I loved going to the coop with Yasi, and sitting at Starbucks with Odub, Yasi, and Kneebar while the rain falls!
That I love Odub's rap.
That JB can actually hear me!
That the younglings don't mind taking an old chicka to the crag. :)
That Liz and Rick are as great as their valley.
That I still support the RRGCC.
That Alan isn't really evil, and Piggie isn't really a pig!
That Jeff and Theresa were so meant for each other.
That all the BAMF grrrl climbers are my heroines: you know who you are!
That I can actually feel a little comfy on overhanging stuff.
That I really want to lead more.
There is no other pizza like Miguel's, no other barbeque like Mark's, and no other French toast like RRO's!
That I love my new firepit (I kinda redid it, Alan!)
That the climbing community is awesome!
And.....that I must go on a diet!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

I've learned that my waist size, climbing ablilty, and happiness is directly propotional to how often I climb. Basically, If I stopped climbing, I'd be a depressed fat bastard who can't can't climb shit!

 That was a hilarious day. I don't think I've ever seen Kris laugh that hard. You're the woman, Dipsi!

learned that although it was much fun to play the devil's advocate on redriverclimbing.com to keep things lively, meeting so many of you in person has been a much greater joy.

learned that leaving friends behind is tough on the soul.

most of all, discovering that you must find your own happiness, because it doesn't make house calls.
