am reading "Natural Resource Economics" by Barry C. Field. Really interesting book...can't wait to see how it ends I think the butler did it.

Didn't Michener write a book about Mexico? If yes, is it any good? I'm heading down there this spring and was wanting a Mexico-related novel to read while I'm there.

Glad you got to read Blood Meridian! It is great. I used to read a lot of science fiction, and I can't think of anything that was much better than Dune. The sequels were sort of a disappointment. The fat lady was done through singing. Never heard of a book called Panama.
