am reading "Natural Resource Economics" by Barry C. Field. Really interesting book...can't wait to see how it ends :) I think the butler did it.

Didn't Michener write a book about Mexico? If yes, is it any good? I'm heading down there this spring and was wanting a Mexico-related novel to read while I'm there.

Thanks, ZSpider

The Tao of Network Security Monitoring - Beyond Intrusion Detection by Richard Bejtlich

Awesome book. Goes beyond the typical IDS books which focus mainly on header information.

Glad you got to read Blood Meridian! It is great. I used to read a lot of science fiction, and I can't think of anything that was much better than Dune. The sequels were sort of a disappointment. The fat lady was done through singing. Never heard of a book called Panama.

Fast Food Nation

I don't wanna eat fast food ever again...not that I eat that much of the stuff in the first place.
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

Hey Ho, I haven't read any other Tom Brown Jr. books, but next week I'm going to get either "Awakening Spirits" or "The Way of the Scout". Do you have any recommendations?
