Check out the Nissan website. I have one of the compacts. It is lightweight and packs easily. If you preheat it, it will keep beverages hot all day. It has a turn and pour top that will not leak. Stay away from the flip tops.

Get the stainless steel vacuum lining type. Before you fill it up with hot coffee, chocolate, etc. boil some water in the microwave in a Pyrex measuring cup and pour the boiling water in the thermos. Let it sit for 15 minutes to preheat the thermos. Then pour out the hot water and fill with your favorite hot beverage. It will keep hot most of the day.
Heed Alien2's advice. He knows what he's talking about. I worked construction for several years and I did just what alien2 suggests. By quitting time what was left of my coffee would still be warm.

I got this cheesy Eddie Bower thermos from my parents for christmas last year and after having it out with me all day I can still drink hot coffee on that way home.

Yeah, Nissan is the way to go. I'm checking Ebay now. Thanks, Paul for sacrificing your needs and letting us drink your coffee. LOL

I think it was sunshine who said that a .5L Nissan thermos is the way to go. Just gotta make sure it has 4WD or you'll never get it back to the crag though.

.5 liters is for the weak sauces.. go big or go home. my only regret is that they don't have a two liter.

If your fine, tasty beverages are getting cold in your current thermos, you need to add more booze. I've found that if you add enough booze, it will seem as warm as you need.
