Buddy Miller is my hero. His stuff runs the gammut from country to blues to rock n roll. He's the lead man for Emmylou Harris's band, has some great solo stuff, and a disc with his wife Julie. Steve Earl is on a lot of their records as well. I'd highly recommend Cruel Moon. Midnight and Lonesome is his new one and it is quite good as well. He's pretty twangy at times, so if you don't like country, he might not be for you. However, his lyrics (and the songs he choses to cover) are far from the typical crap you hear on country radio. His guitar work is freakin amazing.

What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

The rumor mills are churning ... Apple is having a 'music to your ears' event on Monday, April 28. They're expected to release new versions of the iPod (bigger drives for the same price, USB2 adapters, cradle and possibly new 'features'?) along with their new digital music buying service (not MP3, but AAC with 'sharing' restrictions )
