Climbfest - Foster Falls - April 25-26

yo; grab a rope and hitch a ride up to foster falls for a rad weekend..
the SCC is putting on CLimbfest, our 3rd annual event. On friday nite (april 25th) were having the dirty south film fest with vid's from Wes and Coop and maybe Ryan of Pawn. We're working on Kurt Smith to set up on friday also and spin some tunes. On saturday, (April 26th) pull down all day on the steep classics like Darkie and Gas Chamber and work up an appetite cause were rolling out the grills for the South's largest climbers BBQ. Then were having a slide show by Jeff Lowe, DJ tunes by Kurt Smith and then the grand finale, a raging slide show by Peter Croft. Bring your wallet flushed with cash as were having a big raffle. THe food is free but were taking donations as this is one of the SCC's largest fundraisers. Klem Loskot was spotted two years ago wolfing down some burgers...who knows who you will see this year. COme on out and crank and Support local SE climbing.

The SCC put on a good event. Kurt Smith doin' his thing, Jeff Lowe and Peter Croft both giving great slide shows. Those southerners are a good bunch!
Only one draw-back to the weekend and that's the retarded rooster that lives next to the campground. Kinda thought he woulda croaked by now.
