I saw a Black Widow yesterday, normal markings- she was sitting at the front of the bus too.

I think spi.ders are incredibly beautiful....and incredibly needed to eat nasty bugs...but that doesn't mean I can't be terrified....I think I would've peed my pants

Im sure my climbing partners can attest to this. If you all want to see something funny watch me climb and get terified of the smallest spiders ever. I would prob risk decking to avoid a confrontation with a mean spider
Who Me? I gotta hitch hike god damn 18 miles to get a god damn beer......that's bullshit.

I had a wolf spider jump on my hand climbing Bflat/Csharp a couple of years back. It was a really big one and was like, "Eff YOU, dude!!!" and was all jumping out of its hole onto my hand which was, like, a THOUSAND times bigger than it. I was all, like, "Whoa! Brave little fucker!" and I put my hand back next to its hole and it jumped on me again! I was, like, "Whoa! You're a bad-ass little thing!" Then I climbed past it. Deer flies are much worse than s.pide.rs.

Long ago, my sister locked herself in the bathroom to avoid washing the dishes. About 5 minutes into her sit-in I heard a blood curdling scream, and witnessed an 11 year-old child rip a door off its hinges. You guessed it....spide r! Bwa, ha!
What I love about running is you can meditate while running. It's a peaceful place.

Don't mess around with the poisonous ones. I have a relative who was bitten by a brown recluse this Fall and the size of the piece of skin they took off his leg to put on his arm where the bite was is downright scary. A 4" X 6" area off his thigh was grafted to his upper arm. He never even felt the bite but it just got more and more swollen as he got sicker. Headaches, nausea...and they finally figured out where it happened. Be careful.

These things are so obviously different from all other spiders you'll see here... the problem with them is they get up in tight spaces to lay their traps... tight places like your coveralls in the barn...

My point is, none of these poisonous s.p.i.d.e.r.s spin webs where we climb. The ones where we climb are less trouble than ladybugs if you think logically about it. Webs feel funny when you get them in your hair but they won't hurt you. A ladybug in your nose is very likely to cause you a world of hurt. Wasps will hurt you a very great deal (or kill some of us).

Just shake out your clothes and don't grab things under tires, logs, etc. and you'll be fine.
