Did anyone ever hear about Van Halen bringing the tour bus to Long Wall?
They did Rock Wars and Autumn. Supposedly David Lee Roth sucked and Eddie was pretty good.

Actually, it wasn't Van Halen, it was David Lee Roth's solo gig. He sucked, but the other guy was pretty good. They had to drive in the 715 loop. I don't think they did rock wars, it was more like long wall chimney.
Hackworth told me that he took roth to long wall and did ralph and bobs, two step and think vector trouble. said he did allright but one the roadies was alot better.
I'm sorry to hear about those kinds of things goin on at Miguel's. I'm part of the younger crowd that is consistently there, and I assure you that we aren't all bad. There are those of us youngin's that hate to see and hear those kinds of disrespectful things as much as anyone. It seems to be that with the growing popularity in gyms there are kids gettin into it for the sport of it and as a hobby moreso than the full on experience and atmosphere. It's a shame that those few punks can give us all, young or old, a bad rap. But I promise that there is a generation of climbers coming up that aren't the hyped up punks that we get the reputation of being.
yeh, i just love getting dirty looks from punks when i come in there to eat with my family. alot of those kids think they are better than other humans because they stick to walls.
