merrick says climbers are the coolest people to hang with in the universe, and OW says they are the worst. do we need a poll for climbers about climbers?

You can't have that line all to yourself...I'll wrastle you fer it. Of course, I have a wringer, I'll probably hurt myself and Stephy G will have to sub for me. But don't worry, she'll be gentle.

Congrats, OW. You are nothing if not predictable. I didn't mean to set you up, but I knew that you were encapable of responding otherwise.
You are slick. Practiced. I suppose doing your jive all the time conditions you to come up with one liners pretty quick.
This is a public discussion and a public forum. I have spoken to you in person maybe two or three times in my life and see no reason to have our discussion in private at this point.

By the way, its "incapable", not "encapable".

This being a public forum, isn't that reason enough to have this discussion in private, being that its between just the two of us?

You've talked to me two or three times in your life, but you can make the judgement that I'm insecure or insolent?

Thats pretty doubtful.

Theres absolutely no way you can tell my level of security from the internet. You can, of course, jump to the conclusion that you "know my type", but you'd be wrong, seeing as how you really know absolutely nothing about me outside of what I allow you to believe.

As far as being insolent, I can see where you might find arrogance in my statements. Its pretty typical. However, I exhibited no more rude or brash behavior in this thread than anyone else. Less than some, in fact.

If anything, the insolence of you putting your comment out on a public forum should be addressed. You're not the peacekeeper of the climbing forum....especially not now that you've helped stir the pot. You were in no way involved, yet you felt the need to step in and play peacemaker....why is that Hugh? Do you feel like these guys can't handle themselves? They started it, you're gonna finish it? Tell us what insecurities of yours led to your rude, insolent comment.....

Showing out as "the nice guy" isn't working for you. Sorry, but you're gonna have to do more than make unfounded comments or "afterthought setups" to ruffle me.

Better luck next time.....but if you want some tips, just ask...

I will be honest with you, Kris. 964 is one of the nicest guys one could ever meet. For you he would drop the clutch and do anything to help you (Kris Hampton) if you were in need. I thought you treated him poorly as you have treated other people poorly. It bothered me. Oh yeah, he can handle himself, but I wanted to lable you for what you are.

And another thing, (I was just re reading your post). I am struck by how tough you are and in control you are. You must have pretty thick skin. Nothing bothers you. I know about you only what you allow me to believe. C'mon Kris. Who are you trying to sell that to, me or you?
