I work for an engineering firm and yesterday at work I was given a figure map to make up for a proposed dam site. The client is the Kentucky Natural and Advanced Resources Program. This is the figure map I put together yesterday:

can they do that????

what I mean is can they take private land from people to make a resevoir the same way the government can take land for interstate highways?
