The Johnson Center rules! All the staff there are so knowledgable about climbing, especially outdoor techniques and Red River Gorge ethics. Now that that short little shit of a setter that puts heel-hooks in all his problems (I heard he got fat and weak) doesn't put anything up anymore the climbing quality of the routes and problems transcends even some outdoor routes. We are truly blessed that Lexington has such a fine establishment of a climing gym to provide service to all those in the area that would like to use such a facility.

I am so fucking burnt out on that place. I wish we could buldoze that whole wall. I guess its all my fault though.

Rocksport in Louisville, yay!!! sometimes i go to the boulderland of Hester's fitness just south of Louisville, also very yay!!! However, I have heard that CT cinci is one of the best gyms ever, I would love to go up there sometime and check it. To quote a friend "it has good energy"

Yep, ct cinci has it going ON. I don't think you border yankees truly understand how good you have it in cinci. In fact, I would go as far as to say you do not deserve two gyms, and ct cinci should be relocated to Lexington ASAP. I will even help!

Never been to the johnson center. Didn't really care much for rocksport's bouldering. The only other gyms I have been to were in Boston (OK) and SLC (killer, but still wish we weren't there because of rain at LCC)

besides the two stellar/awesome/phenomonal home gym setups, i'm typically at Hidden Peak or Lakeshore Athletic Club, both in Chicago.

i do consider indoor comps training. good send energy, lots of practice reading sequences from the ground, and large variety of moves and holds. the gyms that i'll typically/regularly go to for their comps:
Climb On (Homewood, IL)
North Wall (Crystal Lake, IL)
Vertical Endeavors (Warrenville, IL)
Northlander Climbing Gym (Rockford, IL)
Upper Limits (Bloomington, IL)
Boulders (Madison, WI)
Climb Kalamazoo (Kalamazoo, MI)
Inside Moves (Byron Center, MI)
Higher Ground (Grand Rapids, MI)
Climb Time Indy
Hoosier Heights (Bloomington, IN)
